Always In Harmony Mar 19 2009

"For there are three that bear record (witness) in heaven, the Father, the Word (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one." - 1 John 5:7

The Trinity is a Biblical concept of God that has confused men for 2000 years. It is important to recognize that we don't believe in three Gods. We believe in one God in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, always in harmony with one another. The Holy Spirit will never guide us to do something that is contrary to the commands of God.

Here is an example of someone saying the Holy Spirit led in a direction contrary to the commands of God. In 2004, there was a USA Today headline declaring, "Gay Episcopal Bishop Says Holy Spirit Led Us." The article went on to quote the new priest as saying that, while he genuinely regrets the pain this caused some believers, he saw no reason to repent because "the Holy Spirit led us." Now, my friends, when pseudo-spiritual leaders give credit to the Holy Spirit for guiding man to do something that God says is evil, this is nothing but blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

God loves all sinners. He sent His son to die to pay the penalty for all sinners. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin and the need to repent and receive God's gift of salvation through Christ. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are always in perfect harmony. Everything the Holy Spirit counsels us to do will be in obedience to the commands of God. The Trinity is about the perfect harmony of one God in three persons.

Interesting. Isn't blashpeming the Holy Spirit "the unforgivable sin"? So, this well known Bishop is not only a false teacher, but he has sealed his own fate. How sad.

I love to just sit and think on the concept of the Trinity sometimes. I know this is a name that we as man has come up with to describe the union of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and that the word does not appear in the Bible, but what a comfort to know that we have all three to lead, guide and protect the believers. God has even chosen to give us an example of his love in a pregnacy of a woman, during the pregnacy you have a trinity. You have the seed of the Father, the body of the Mother and then you have the baby, and all three are in one. I don't know about anyone else but that blesses me. Have a good day.

This example of blasphemy is just one of the times that humans can "agree and believe everything in the Bible except for..." Amazing! Praise God for such wonderful grace that saves all that truly believe.

Remember Jesus said in those days their would people like the bishop he need a lot of prayer for deliverance of being gay thats not from God. Someday that man will have answer to father of us all. I sure hope he repent before it is to late.
