“But [a] fruit of the spirit is…kindness” - Galatians 5:23
Do you know one character trait that is always appreciated? The Biblical proverb tells us. “What is desirable in a man is kindness.”
In the movie The Fugitive, the character played by Harrison Ford performed several acts of kindness. The fugitive even risked his own life to save the life of a boy who was being neglected in a busy hospital emergency room.
The cop, obsessed with chasing him, began to question whether this fugitive could have really killed his wife. You could just hear the cop thinking, “Cold-blooded killers don’t do nice things like this.”
Acts of kindness inspire us, whether it’s taking time to help an employee at the office, or defending a person who is being picked on by bullies. The recipients of these acts of kindness are always grateful.
The one person who comes to mind when I think of kindness is Jesus Christ. He shows us that God is kind. And because He is so kind to us, we are to be kind to one another.
Especially in a busy world where so many seem to be looking out for number one, acts of kindness are always appreciated.

Yes, report it NevermindOne act of kindness I have performed that I find that is appreciated is when I go to any place and the person who works there is friendly or helpful I go to management and tell them this. It has been my experience time after time that this is greatly appreciated because they tell me that so often all they hear is criticism.

Yes, report it NevermindJudy, as a former store owner and a life long manager of people, I give a resounding AMEN to your comment. It means the world to both the employee and the boss.
I am strugling today with my relationship with a son-in-law. He won't admit that he has a substance problem, and every act of kindness and encouragement seems to turn into "enablement". My greatest hope is that God will work a miracle, and it would be a miracle because he is an angry atheist. I pray for this, but my own prayers are mixed with anger and frustration. Please pray for my son-in-law and for me. This cannot go on. It will hurt my daughter and grandson too much in the long run.
