Infertility May 23 2010

"Cast your burden upon the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken." NAS - Psalm 55:22

Infertility is a very common problem with couples wanting to have children. It was also a very common problem among great women of the Bible like Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Hannah, and Elizabeth. In biblical days, it was seen as a lack of favor from God. Thankfully, that is not the case today. But the frustration of those unable to have children is very much the same.

If you are struggling with this problem:

1. Study the great women of faith in God's Word and see what God reveals to you.

2. Ask God to create life where there is barrenness.

3. Seek God's guidance on waiting on Him, seeking fertility treatment, or adopting a child in need of parents.

4. Most of all, trust God to know what is best for your life - even if it is not what you want. For this is real faith.

Grant,
I have not been able to post lately because of some technical problems so I thought I would try one last time.
This devotion is very needful for a lot of people and it will help me in counseling some couples in the future.
Have a blessed evening
