True Success

Our culture is obsessed with success. We are obsessed not only with our own personal success, but we may be even more obsessed with providing our children with the tools they need to become successful. We all do our best, but a lot of times, there's confusion about what real success is. There's a nebulous understanding that success means that our child will one day get a good education, have a good job, a good family and be good citizens.
But that is a very short-sighted view. It's not much success if our children grow up to have worldly success for fifty years and then spend eternity in hell. That's a temporary success, but an eternal failure.
In God's eyes, success means discovering His will for your life and using that purpose for the glory of God, not for the glory of self. We must see that big picture when we help our children become truly successful. When a child grows to understand that, then the child has a far greater chance of experiencing real, lasting success, for they will be successful in God's eyes.

I'm sitting around here trying to keep my head clear. Wondering what my future will bring. At the rate I'm going, I see hell in my future. The bad part about it is I know better. On top of it all I'm going through some of the most difficult times in my life. I am allowing the devil trick me.I couldn't talk to any one so I asked for prayer over the net.I stumbled upon rightfromtheknees.org, and requested prayer. Somebody prayed for me. I'm linked to this page and True Success slaps me in the face. I am ashamed of myself, and God is not pleased with me. I am a single mother of five and I am not giving them what they truly need to succeed.I'm not even leading by example. I have to go back to church. I believe that God has spoken to me or basically warned me. Life is too short and I don't want to leave here without giving my children a special way to live by. I love God and accepted his son Jesus as my personal savior and believe in my heart that he is real.I ask that you Pray for me I need it more then anything. God is trying to tell me something. I receive this blessing in the name of Jesus. I thank God for this this site.

If you have been saved, Christ is right where you walked away from him, if you have never been saved then I would love to introduce you to him. The Bible tells us all we have to do is believe that God gave his son for our sins, and that he died on the cross for whosoever would believe on him, we have to believe this in our heart and ask him into our heart, then he will forgive our sins and save us from our sins and write our names in the book of life. This is what you have to do to keep from going to Hell. There are alot of people who frequent this forum who loves you and cares for your soul and we will carry your name to God in prayer. - Jerry

I am glad you found this site. It will help you to keep focused on Jesus as Lord of your life. God is with you during these difficult days and He will pull you from the brink of hell. We who frequent this site will pray for you and your five children who are all precious to the Lord. You can be a good example to them for when you were down you got up with the Lord's help and followed Him for the rest of your life. Praise be to God for the lives He saves!
